Arthritis Diet – Can It Reduce Your Pain?

Arthritis pain can also be reduced with Vitamin C. Cranberries, cabbage, celery, kiwi, peaches, oranges, broccoli, red peppers, green peppers, potatoes, parsley, cauliflower, strawberries, etc. are great examples of Vitamin C.

In curries, soups, and stews, the ginger and turmeric used can also help reduce your pain. There are even reports of vegan or vegetarian diets that have helped. However, there are foods you may want to stay away from even if there are plenty of other foods that can help you relieve tension in your joints.

Foods that may aggravate your system are eggplants, capsicum, milk, yogurt, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, goat cheese, ricotta or cottage cheese, buttermilk, whey, creams, eggs, butter, ice cream, and egg nog.

Arthritis pain can also flare up because of fatty meats. Good examples of fatty meats are chicken, turkey, roast beef, hamburger, steak, pork, spare ribs, sausage, bacon, and ham.

Also linked to pain are baked foods like bagels, potato chips, cake, brownies, scones, etc. Always remember to consult your physician before embarking on any sort of diet because it could pose a risk for those of you who have diabetes or other food sensitive disease.
